Judith Meyers

President & CEO

Judith Meyers Judith Meyers, a clinical and community psychologist, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Children’s Fund of Connecticut, a public charitable foundation, and its subsidiary, the Child Health and Development Institute of Connecticut.

Dr. Meyers has devoted much of her career to issues of public policy and service system reform for children and their families in several positions including as a Massachusetts Governor’s Senior Policy Advisor, Commissioner of Iowa’s Division of Child & Family Services, and Senior Associate at the Annie E. Casey Foundation. She has authored articles, chapters, and monographs in the field of children’s mental health and child welfare services. She was a Congressional Science Fellow and has served as Chair of the American Psychological Association’s Committee on Children, Youth and Families, and President of the Division on Child, Youth, and Family Services.

In Connecticut she has served on the Governor’s Early Care and Education Cabinet, the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Commission on Mental Health and the Lt. Governor’s Mental Health Cabinet. She serves on the ECE Cabinet’s Management Team and also co-chairs the Cabinet’s Standing Committee on State and Community Partnerships and serves on the Cabinet’s Executive Committee. She holds faculty appointments at the University Of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Yale Child Study Center.
