Paul H. Dworkin
Chair, Department of Pediatrics, Connecticut Children's Medical Center
Dr. Dworkin is Professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics, University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Physician-in-Chief, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. He received his B.A. from Rutgers University, his M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and his pediatric residency and fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital, Boston.
He is also a board member of the Children’s Trust Fund. In Hartford, he serves on the Mayor’s Cabinet for Young Children. He is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics Subboard of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, past-president of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, a former chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Committee on Scientific Meetings and the Government Liaison Committee of the Connecticut Chapter of the AAP, and an editor emeritus of the Journal of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
