Jeffrey Vanderploeg
Associate Director
Jeffrey Vanderploeg, Ph.D., is a Program Associate for Mental Health at the Connecticut Center for Effective Practice of CHDI and holds an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Vanderploeg is involved in quality improvement, evaluation, research, and consultation initiatives that improve the effectiveness of programs and services for children with complex emotional and behavioral disorders. He is currently Director of the Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services Performance Improvement Center, a quality improvement and workforce development initiative funded by the Connecticut Department of Children and Families. Prior to joining CHDI, Dr. Vanderploeg was on the full-time faculty at Yale University School of Medicine, where he also completed a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in clinical-community psychology. He received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 2005.
