Jeff Vanderploeg was selected to participate in the Capitol Region Leadership Development Roundtable (LDR). Vanderploeg was nominated by Judith Meyers and selected through a competitive application process to participate in this 6-month leadership development program specifically designed for emerging nonprofit sector leaders. The mission of LDR is "to build a powerful and transformative movement of rising nonprofit leaders who possess the competencies necessary to effect social change in Connecticut." From January to June, Vanderploeg will engage in 1-2 LDR development meetings a month, complete a mentored leadership development project, and engage and network with other emerging non-profit leaders in the Greater Hartford area.
