CT Center for Effective Practice Projects

The Connecticut Center for Effective Practice’s primary goal and long-range strategy has been to develop a sustainable Connecticut infrastructure that provides the public service system with training, consultation, staff development and quality management essential to sustain effective models of practice.

Multisystemic Therapy (MST)

A nationally recognized and highly effective treatment for juvenile delinquents, MST was selected for adoption and support by the Center because it has well demonstrated national and international success with large scale dissemination. Over the past year, CCEP successfully built local capacity such that all MST training and quality assurance is now provided within Connecticut.

Behavioral Health Needs Assessment Study of Children Involved in Connecticut’s Juvenile Justice System

Close to Home is the product of this initiative. This report offers an analysis of current services, contrasts them with successful national effective practices and makes recommendations for system enhancements.
