Maternal and child health systems planning
Through a planning grant from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau of the federal Department of Health and Human Services, Connecticut is developing a plan to improve its early childhood services system. The state is focusing on the birth to age 3 population, with an emphasis on health and development, underscoring the inextricable correlation between healthy development and early care and education. DataCONNections is assisting this planning effort by providing relevant research and data analysis.
