Funders’ Collaborative on "Promoting the Health and Learning of Connecticut’s Young Children"
CHDI has convened four private foundations in Connecticut who have now pooled their resources to select and provide funding and technical assistance to three communities that will strengthen the linkages between their health services and other early childhood programs and supports, especially early care and education sites. These communities will demonstrate what it takes to support a comprehensive and preventive community-based health service system for young children. The funders anticipate using this work to inform the planning and development of a statewide comprehensive health and development system for infants, toddlers and their families as outlined in the grant proposal.
