Promoting Healthy Children and Families in Connecticut
Recognizing the widespread impact that health in early childhood has on school readiness, health in adulthood and other areas, CHDI is exploring strategies and interventions in the health care system that will promote good outcomes for young children. In a four-part IMPACT series, CHDI will outline significant health problems that affect young children; the effect of nutrition on early childhood health; the effect of women’s health before, during and after pregnancy on the health of infants and young children; and strategies for improving children’s health and development, with financing strategies to support the recommendations.
