Training Program in Child Development Infant-Toddler Training: A Process Evaluation
(March, 2003)
The objective of this evaluation is to asses the content and the format of infant and toddler trainings (offered through CT Charts-a-Course) in a way that would yield information useful to curriculum developers and program planners. This report summarizes information from three sources: training workshop evaluation forms, focus groups conducted with training participants and structured interviews conducted with trainers.

This report presents findings of a study on informal child care, focusing specifically on the use of this type of care by low income families.
The Evaluation of The Training Program in Child Development (August 2001)
In the fall of 1999, researchers at Yale University’s Bush Center in Child Development and Social Policy began an evaluation of the Training Program in Child Development. The Training Program offers center-based care, family day care, and relative care providers Connecticut Charts-A-Course s 180-hour, comprehensive, modular curriculum of career development and recognition. This evaluation included both process and outcome components to determine how the Program works and ascertain its effects on the participating child care providers and their child care environments.
