Jessica Mahon — Project Coordinator
Jessica Mahon joined CHDI as a Project Coordinator in January 2020. She coordinates trainings and quality assurance activities for multiple evidence-based treatment initiatives within children’s behavioral health programs. These initiatives include MATCH – Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems, and TF-CBT – Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
Jessica has over 7 years of experience working on various grant based initiatives focused on eliminating systematic barriers to improve access to resources and services that support healthy outcomes for under-served populations. Prior to joining CHDI she managed a statewide project for the Voices for Health Kids Campaign, a joint initiative between the American Heart Association and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation that addressed improving policies and supporting legislation around childhood health and healthy environments. Jessica also served as an AmeriCorps Member in the Service to Improve Community Health (STICH) Program, where she provided trainings on Health Insurance Literacy within the community.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion Studies with a concentration in Community Health from Western Connecticut State University.
