The University of New Haven's Transforming Youth Justice: A Leadership Development program selected CHDI Project Coordinator Yecenia Casiano to serve as a member of their 2018 Transforming Youth Justice Leadership Development Cohort. Casiano will join a core group of individuals dedicated to transforming youth justice and developing their personal leadership skills. At CHDI, Casiano coordinates the School-Based Diversion Initiative (SBDI) and the Mobile Crisis Intervention Services (formerly Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services - EMPS) - Performance Improvement Center projects.
