Trauma-Informed Care Approach: Four Key Elements

CHDI's Jamie LoCurto and Jason Lang authored an article about trauma-informed care with Ashley-Simons sad-third-grader2.pngRudolph for Community Psychology, the website of the Society for Community Research and Action - Division 27 of the American Psychological Association.
 
The article, "What is Trauma-Informed Care: An Example" demonstrates how the four key elements of a trauma-informed system were put into practice in a school setting with integrated community-level resources. Schools are increasingly becoming important locations to deliver trauma-informed care. Learn more about CHDI's work to support trauma-informed care in Connecticut.
