Maintenance of Certification
Many of CHDI’s EPIC modules and other CHDI programs prepare pediatricians to participate in Maintenance of Certification projects to meet the American Board of Pediatrics’ quality improvement requirements as well as quality improvement projects that support medical home recognition from the certifying organizations.
Pediatricians can receive MOC credits in the following areas of practice:
Projects require that pediatricians perform chart audits, review periodic reports on practice performance, and participate in Plan Do Study Act cycles to improve care over at least six months. Credits are available for individual pediatricians or for the whole practice.
Pediatricians can enroll in these MOC projects or learn more about MOC and practice quality improvement opportunities through the Connecticut Children’s website.
