Jamie LoCurto, PhD
Senior Associate
For over a decade, Jamie LoCurto has worked in both school- and community-based settings to facilitate the training/technical assistance, implementation, and quality improvement of behavioral, health evidence-based interventions to both adolescents and adults. Since joining CHDI in 2020, and in her current role as Senior Associate, Jamie oversees multiple school-based projects in partnership with The Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE), The Department of Children and Families (DCF), and 20+ districts across the state. These projects have been/currently are funded through the Institute of Education Sciences (IES), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and The Cigna Foundation, and are focused on enhancing districts’ behavioral health infrastructure, ensuring programs and services are equitable, and youth empowerment.
Jamie received her PhD and Masters in Community Psychology from Wichita State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
