Christina Stephens, DSW(c), LCSW is the Senior Project Coordinator for the Functional Family Therapy - Foster Care Performance Improvement Center. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Christina has over a decade of experience in child welfare, clinical consultation, and systems change initiatives, most recently as a Clinical Consultant at the Child Center of New York. She has provided supervision, training, and technical assistance to child protection specialists, foster care providers, and preventive services agencies.
Christina’s expertise includes trauma-informed care, family engagement, and evidence-based practice implementation, with a strong focus on equity and the preservation of families. She is currently completing her Doctor of Social Work at Morgan State University, where her research examines the impact of social media and systemic inequities on Black adolescents and family structures.
