Gianna Mendes, MS
Project Coordinator
Gianna Mendes joined CHDI in 2025 as a Project Coordinator, supporting the Student Peer Support Program and School-Based Diversion Initiative (SBDI).
Gianna holds a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Southern CT State University. Her previous roles have been in high schools around central Connecticut, most recently at East Hartford High School, where she worked with at-risk freshmen students to improve their social-emotional and academic well-being, partnered with a range of school stakeholders, and created various interventions based on student data.
