Project Coordinator

Kalagena Sullivan is a Project Coordinator working on CHDI’s co-occurring disorder initiatives. Kalagena is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and focused her graduate studies on policy. She held a public policy law fellowship at UC Berkeley and did an internship in the Connecticut office of the attorney general, where she gained experience in research, technical writing, and policy advocacy including youth cannabis and nicotine use and safe injection sites. She brings experience with data analysis and reporting, training coordination/implementation, and direct care experience in a school-based and community mental health settings where she gained exposure to evidence-based practices including MI, CBT, and DBT.
