Senior Associate
Kasia Baca, PhD, MPH, MA joined CHDI in 2026. As a Senior Associate, she leads projects related to prevention-focused evidence-based practices in youth substance use and mental health promotion.
Dr. Baca has over 10 years of experience in public health prevention and applied epidemiology. She most recently served as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology Program state assignee and a consultant to the CT Department of Public Health. Her past experience includes mixed methodologies, data visualization, and supporting grants, programs, and partners by providing subject matter knowledge in both public health and maternal and child health, data support, and technical expertise. Dr. Baca earned both her MPH and PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh.
