Kasia Baca, PhD, MPH, MA
Senior Associate
Kasia Baca, PhD, MPH, MA is a Senior Associate who joined CHDI January 2026. She leads projects related to prevention-focused evidence-based practices in youth substance use and mental health promotion.
Dr. Baca graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a PhD in Epidemiology. She has over 10 years of experience in public health prevention and applied epidemiology. Dr. Baca most recently served as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology Program state assignee and a consultant to the CT Department of Public Health. Her experience includes mixed methodologies, data visualization, and supporting grants, programs and partners by providing subject matter knowledge in both public health and maternal and child health, data support, and technical expertise.
