MATCH-ADTC Annual Report Shows Positive Outcomes

Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Conduct Problems (MATCH-ADTC) is an evidence-based treatment for four common behavioral health concerns among children: anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, and behavior problems.

As Connecticut's MATCH-ADTC Coordinating Center, CHDI provides training, credentialing, implementation support, site-based consultation, data collection and reporting, and ongoing quality improvement to a network of 23 MATCH-ADTC providers throughout the state.

The FY 2025 MATCH-ADTC Annual Report summarizes the work and outcomes of the network of Connecticut MATCH providers during fiscal year 2025 (July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025) and includes some analysis of multi-year trends.

This year, MATCH continued to produce positive results in terms of access, quality, and outcomes for Connecticut children and families. Below are a few key highlights:

Key Recommendations

  • Address disparities in service delivery to Spanish-speaking youth by increasing bilingual team capacity and strengthening the existing network of bilingual clinicians by offering dedicated MATCH office hours for Spanish-speaking clinicians and squaring quarterly consultation data on the bilingual MATCH workforce.

  • Continue to invest in supporting Associate Consultants by training content in the MATCH Associate Consultant Booster Training and developing more consistent strategies to support newly trained clinicians throughout the consultation process.

  • Promote training in culturally responsive practices to enhance leadership capacity and improve support for teams working with diverse families by providing culturally responsive cognitive behavioral treatment (CBT) training for both clinicians and supervisors that align with MATCH treatment.
