Dashboard: Connecticut's Youth Mobile Crisis Services
Tracking access, quality, and outcomes in Connecticut's mobile crisis services for youth
Connecticut's Mobile Crisis Intervention Services (Mobile Crisis) is a face-to-face intervention for children and adolescents experiencing a behavioral or mental health need or crisis, where a clinician meets the child and family in their home, school, or community. Funded by the state Department of Children and Families (DCF), Mobile Crisis is available free of charge to any child and family statewide by calling 211 or 988.
This interactive dashboard provides an overview of how Connecticut's Mobile Crisis services for youth are performing. It is updated monthly with the most recent data available from DCF's Provider Information Exchange (PIE) database. In CHDI's role as the state's Mobile Crisis Performance Improvement Center, we analyze and report on data entered by providers into PIE to promote system-wide transparency, accountability, and quality improvement.
Mobile Crisis coverage is divided into six regions, with a total of 14 sites that collectively provide coverage for every town and city in Connecticut. This dashboard allows the user to explore data on the statewide level as well as broken down by region and provider site. Additionally, data can be explored by Fiscal Year, Quarter, and Month.
