CHDI developed the Caring for Connecticut's Children handbooks (volumes one and two) in 2014 to provide information and resources for parents and caregivers of young children on early childhood growth and development, sleep, healthy eating, behavioral health, and safety.  

 

Caring for Connecticut's Children, Volume One

Volume One of Caring for Connecticut's Children provides information and resources on how to keep young children healthy and safe. It has information and tips about sleeping, healthy eating, mental health and safety.

Volume Two of Caring for Connecticut's Children provides information and resources on the growth and development of young children. It has information and tips about how the brain develops, child development, dealing with behavior issues, and knowing the signs of development problems.
