A brief, no-cost measure to encourage widespread child trauma screening
The Child Trauma Screen (CTS) is a brief, standardized, validated measure used across child-serving settings to identify children who may be suffering from trauma exposure and need more comprehensive assessment or treatment.
The Child Trauma Screen was developed by CHDI, Yale University, and the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, with the goal of reducing barriers to effective screening (such as cost, time, and expertise).
