A brief, no-cost measure to encourage widespread child trauma screening

The Child Trauma Screen (CTS) is a brief, standardized, validated measure used across child-serving settings to identify children who may be suffering from trauma exposure and need more comprehensive assessment or treatment.

The Child Trauma Screen was developed by CHDI, Yale University, and the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, with the goal of reducing barriers to effective screening (such as cost, time, and expertise).

There is no cost to download or use the CTS and it is available in multiple languages. Learn more about the Child Trauma Screen's development and download it here:
