Bob Franks was one of four child trauma experts invited to present on "Addressing Trauma" before the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission on April 26. He discussed CHDI's work over the past six years to build a trauma-informed system of care in Connecticut. Through our TF-CBT initiative, CHDI has trained 519 TF-CBT providers who have treated over 2,300 children with traumatic stress. Click here for his presentation.


CHDI also submitted and presented testimony at the January 29th hearing before the Mental Health Services Working Group of the Bipartisan Task Force on Gun Violence Prevention and Children's Safety. The link to the testimony is below.


Dr. Eric Arzubi, co-chair of Keep the Promise Children's Committee and CHDI Policy Fellow, was invited to testify in front of the Sandy Hook Commission on April 12th regarding school mental health.
